Service Description
The Basic Survival and Bushcraft two day course is intended to provide you with more than just a familiarity with the skills necessary to survive . This class is a one on one . Meaning one instructor with one student. There are no exceptions vis a vis training. Which means no additional students allowed. The sole intent of this class is to show and experience real world scenarios that require physical effort, mental fortitude and the ability to adapt and overcome. It is not Boot Camp, it is not Survivorman or the related type tv shows. We personally come to your local area and at an appropriate location begin a Full two day and two night hands on training session. ( class ends the morning of day three. Content includes but is not limited to the following. 1. Critical Assessment principles. 2. Skill set performance evaluation and mentoring. 3. Basic skills instruction and practical utilization. 4. AAR After Action Review During this class be prepared to experience the following, Navigation, Shelter creation and utilization, Fire making using natural materials, tools and aids, Water procurement and ways to make safe drinking water, Food gathering and processing (following federal, state and local laws), Cooking techniques, Self-rescue principles, Bushcraft theory, principles and projects, Communication techniques and equipment. This is a physically demanding class that requires you to be able to traverse varied terrain, use hand tools and build items to enhance survivability. You carry what you use. All equipment, tools and materials are provided. You bring only yourself and appropriate clothing for the environment and season. NOTE: We offer this class year round. Rain, sleet or snow, nor temperature delays this class. You MUST be able to carry a 45# pack plus water for 5-15 miles over rough terrain, through brush, over hills, a day. Sleeping arrangements are quite literally primitive. This class does come with disclaimers. contact us for more details. What do you walk away from after this class? A firm understanding and actual experience of what it MAY be like to survive an unfortunate incident in the wild. The confidence in knowing what to do, when to do it and more importantly how to avoid a bad situation from happening or getting worse. Skills and a mindset to overcome any obstacle. This is truly a no nonsense yet very fun and enjoyable experience. One that will last you a lifetime and may even enhance your enjoyment of the outdoors.

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us within 72 hours of scheduled course time. Please note that this course is designed for individual training. for additional attendees a separate fee will be charged or schedule a course more in line with your expectations. we can accommodate up too three additional individuals for this class. However an additional fee of $100.00 per individual is assesed for consumable materials and equipment.
