These bow drill sets are hand made, custom fitted in order to assist you to make the easiest bow drill fire. Each kit comes with a bow, spindle, hearth board, string, bearing block and vibration dampening beads( old indian trick). Each piece has been hand selected, hand carved and assembled . the string is #36 tarred bankline and is long enough that it can be doubled up if necesssary. The bearing blocks have been whittled and sanded to fit your hand. The spindles are chosen specifically for a bowdrill friction fire. I am being totally honest here, at this price i am losing my arse. but i feel strongly about our youth having access to the tools needed in the bushcraft and outdoor arena.  
Note: the bow is coated with a light coat of boiled linseed oil, please continue the process to ensure this kit is handed down for generations to come!
